A short overview of my 1983 Oberheim DX Drum Machine. I've used it in various tracks, especially when I needed a real punchy snare drum but I've never really featured it in a video before.And that's something I'd like to start doing more of, making shorts of various pieces of gear that I find to be interesting, underused or relatively obscure. I hope you find it interesting, too.
By the way, the background music is just something quick I put together featuring the DX on drums (obviously) and my Arturia Minibrute for some bass.
