I recently found a mini disc of one of my early DJ sets (when I went under the name Phatt Lace Lloyd) recorded live at Carnage in St Albans (UK), a night I ran with Kid Ballistics and Beardo. It was only a small backroom of a pub but the atmosphere was amazing and the night was credited by DJ Mag for helping form the Nu Skool Breaks scene. The likes of Freq Nasty, BLIM, Bushwacka, Krafty Kuts and many more played some of their earliest Breaks sets here. Here's a little taster. Good times!
