Businesses have a critical role to play in supporting the youth of the nation.
That's according to President of the Barbados Chamber of Commerce and Industry James Clarke who is calling on business leaders to begin investing in youth focused initiatives and mentorship programmes.
Mr. Clarke says businesses shape the lives of young men through creating internship opportunities, fostering entrepreneurship and investing in initiatives that empower the next generation.
He was addressing the opening of the Chamber's "From Boys to Men" discussion held to commemorate International Men's Day 2024.
The event, designed to foster resilience and purpose in the next generation of men, empowered the participants with tools for managing challenges facing young men in today's society.
