The Chants were a vocal group who brought a slice of Motown to Liverpool.
They were usually backed by one of the Merseybeat groups when they performed, The Beatles backed them when they made their Cavern debut.
For a short period of time, Brian Epstein was their manager.
The Chants released a handful of single but failed to find chart success and parted company in the mid-'70s.
Although, Eddy Amoo went on to find international success with the Real Thing.
