What do you think about sitting next to strangers at restaurants?

I know it's kind of a weird concept here, but in a lot of countries, communal seating is the norm and people don't think twice about it. 

It always makes me smile when I see strangers sitting with each other on the patio next to the truck. It might seem silly, but that small connection might be the best thing to happen in someone's day. 

In my experience, if you approach strangers with friendliness, it tends to turn out well. You might even make a friend for life.
