In our latest Electronic Beats TV video we speak with Marie Montexier, a german DJ with French roots, nowadays she’s based in Berlin and operating as a resident of the WARNING crew. Beyond her residency, Marie is also bringing her energetic, vinyl focused DJ style to many key festival stages and clubs throughout Europe and further afield across the globe and running the Paryia Records imprint which she launched as a platform for a wide variety of people to release their art. In this episode, Marie discusses the sustainability and controversy that comes with being a vinyl lover, consumer and producer through her imprint, gets a detailed run down of its production from Nick Hoppner at the Objects Manufacturing pressing plant, and shares with us some of the aspects of electronic music that are important to her such as posing questions around diversity and inclusivity on event line ups, musical output and more.
