Here is a quick video showing how to add a sub bass to an existing mix by using a side-chain aux track with the stock Signal Generator plugin. This will add the extra low-end your mix may need to have that punch and warmth for a polished mix sound. This technique may not always be the best option, but if you have a thin kick that lacks low-end power, this could be the remedy.
I made this video quickly to get it out before I leave for NAMM. The compression on the Sub Bass track is a bit much when it is on solo. Within the mix, your sub track should decay properly. Hope this helps with some of those tracks that need sub.
