The thing we call war in our own world between men or countries or other imaginary things.Here in this package called body we have little battling atoms… Atoms… Ah Adam… how appropriate.Those restless microscopic molecules with the namesake of that divine boy who was himself so restless as to look beyond the walls of paradise, produced a stirring and whirring far beyond the typical heat of passion.When the faculties inside circle the wagons that great red chariot of Mars pulled they say by horses named fear and panic. Panic… hmmm… that can’t be right. I can accept Fear as a horse which pulls the chariot of the warmonger Mars. But I am suspicious of this Panic business as it is the case ladies and gentlemen that yours truly albeit in a life long ago was very well acquainted with Pan. Yes its true. Perhaps a story for another time but I can surely attest, Pan that gorgeous he goat would not under any circumstances pull a chariot and especially not for a war lord…He would much sooner loosen a wheel to send it from a cliff before pulling it in service of the agenda of another entity no matter how divine.. HA HA HA Anyway where were we…Ah Yes… war… this overheating of the organs, and the skin… the blistering. This battle in the blood. The rallying, the catchphrases, the sloganeering ah yes the sloganeering. Slogan of course meaning the battle cry of the dead. Take note dear listener that in any occasion when the sloganeering begins well… you have already lost. But it is necessary isn’t it for the mongers to possess an army. Indeed animals engage in conflicts without a thought we call that instinct but mans instinct well they call that reason dont they ? So a thinking man must be tricked, possessed, propagandized … yes… sloganeered into warring. That is an ironic fact as we all agree each cell, ah sorry, each Adam is at war within the body be it attrition or entropy or reproduction or simple evolution or division.Molecular war within is the norm lest we attain a grasp on our bodies and order ourselves.However what we have here is no such thing. What we have here is delirium… I— Do you hear that ? … Yes I’ve heard it all along…. Hard to think a thought without its interruption. But you do hear it? Wow. What a relief. I’ve suspected it a pounding migraine an internal phantom parade of course with all this talk of war one can’t help imagine the drums and trumpets sounding but if you hear it too then ? It is there ! Ah so he is not so sick as we imagined. And neither have we ourselves gone mad well we have that to cling to then.
