Dramatic bodycam footage shows Tampa police officers rescuing a woman trapped in a burning, overturned car following a crash in the early hours of Sunday, June 29.

The video, shared by the Tampa Police Department on X, captures an officer sprinting toward the flipped vehicle on E. Fowler Avenue as flames shoot from underneath. He joins two fellow officers already at the scene and begins smashing the windshield with a baton. Together, they shatter the glass and pull the driver to safety.

Authorities said the driver and two officers suffered minor injuries. “Thanks to their bravery, no lives were lost,” the department posted.
