
Taimyr Peninsula is a kingdom of snow, ice and cold. It is here, in the vast and empty expanses of the Arctic that the world’s biggest population of the wild northern deer lives. Each spring these animals start on a long journey. Nothing in the world, even death, can stop their eternal movement. What guides them, why do they doom themselves to such trials and tribulations? To unravel one of the riddles of Nature and see the route by which the deer travel in the snowy and icy vastness of Taimyr we decided to meet and accompany them on their long and arduous journey full of mortal dangers, the route of the wanderers of the North.
