One night during the summer 1992, going through tapes that I recorded of old jazz tunes, I came across this wild sample. I took it to Dje and was just ready to rip it. We looped it, threw some drums on it and "Gimme da Mic!" was manifested. This is one of many never before revealed songs recorded down in the (Original) "Dope Lab" aka Dje's basement 1988-1998. Excuse the quality. I have done my best to restore this one, as the quality was way awful - especially coming from a cassette tape after nearly 3 decades.Over the course of my series of video files I will be bringing plenty of my and our old school material into light. That's if the head of YouTube would stop interfering with keeping my channel stagnant.
