Introductory intertitle reads: "Modern nighties may no longer be loose fitting, but follow the line of the figure... just like these."
M/S of two women in flimsy nightwear sitting in a boudoir. Dissolve into a shot of one of the women who puts a lace trimmed jacket on over her nightie. Female American narrator states that it is going to be difficult to tell this season if women are dressed for the opera or the boudoir - the night-gown is looking more and more like an evening dress.
Great shot of a row of women standing with their backs to the camera - they all wear skimpy nighties. They are made of shiny silk (or rayon?) with lace trims - very glamorous. The camera pans along and the girls turn around one by one. They smile at the camera.
One of the girls poses in a night-gown and reaches down to grab the sides in order to take it off. She begins to take the night-gown off - saucy! C/U of the girls legs as she opens a dressing table drawer and takes out "some charming whatchamaycallems" as the narrator says! She steps into the camiknickers and slides them up her legs. Dissolve into a M/S of the girl doing up the knickers at the side. She then puts on a lace bolero to complete the look.
Note: nice saucy stuff!
