"I started asking MADA (Magen David Adom) and United Hatzalah (the emergency services) where is my daughter, is she here? No one gave me an answer because of the situation but suddenly I went to the corner. I saw such a tiny girl in a bag. I recognized her from her shoes, I recognized her from her hand. I understood that that's it, nothing is left, she's gone."

STORYLINE:
The Druze community of Majdal Shams, a town in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights, were reeling Monday after a rocket attack over the weekend that killed 12 of the town’s children and teenagers.
Ayman Fakhr al-Din, the father of Alma Ayman, an 11-year-old girl who kas killed in the attack, said his daughter was a gifted child full of energy.
The grieving parents and sibling of Alma were visited by members of their community paying their respects.
Israel has blamed Hezbollah for Saturday evening’s rocket attack that slammed into a soccer field where the children were playing in the mainly Druze town of Majdal Shams.
In an unusual move, Hezbollah denied any role in the strike.
Israeli Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu on Monday vowed heavy retaliation against Hezbollah amid furious diplomatic efforts to prevent a spiral into regional war following a weekend rocket strike that killed 12 children in the Israeli-controlled Golan Heights.
