According to the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence, the attack occurred near Cape Tarkhankut in Russian-occupied Crimea.
The missile was launched from a Magura V5 Unmanned Surface Vehicle operated by the Main Directorate of Intelligence’s, elite Group 13 unit was launched and took down a Mi-8 helicopter.
Reports also suggest that another Russian helicopter, the type of which has not been disclosed, sustained damage but managed to return to its airfield.
