
Recently, in the Bawangling area of Hainan Tropical Rainforest National Park, the cotton trees have burst into full bloom. A monitoring team captured rare footage of Hainan gibbons feasting on the blossoms! These gibbons, a first-class protected species in China, have made an incredible comeback—from fewer than 10 individuals 40 years ago to 42 today, showing significant conservation success.
