Not a lot of movies are shot on true IMAX film — mostly because it’s a pain. The cameras are huge, expensive... and super loud. Directors like Christopher Nolan (Oppenheimer, Dunkirk), Jordan Peele (Nope), and the most recent James Bond team used IMAX for some scenes, but it comes with a weird challenge: the camera is so loud it makes shooting dialogue really hard.
