Reincarnation, central to Buddhism, Hinduism, Gnosticism, and Hermeticism, represents the soul’s cyclical journey through birth, death, and rebirth, governed by karma and the quest for moksha (liberation). This process unfolds within samsara, the cycle of existence driven by avidya (ignorance), dukkha (suffering), and attachment (trishna). The soul, as an eternal atman, chooses its first incarnation to explore maya (illusion), selecting families, environments, and soulmates aligned with its dharma (cosmic duty) and karmic imprints. Guided by soul contracts, lifetimes serve to resolve vasanas (latent tendencies) and achieve spiritual evolution.

The path to liberation involves transcending the gunas (qualities of nature: sattva, rajas, tamas), mastering the eightfold path (Buddhism) or yoga (Hinduism), and aligning with universal laws (Mentalism, Polarity, Vibration). Through practices like vipassana meditation, bhakti (devotion), and jnana yoga (path of knowledge), the soul seeks to dissolve the ego, overcome avidya, and awaken Buddha-nature or Atman-Brahman unity.

Cosmically, reincarnation reflects the Law of Correspondence and serves The All’s divine plan. The akashic records store the soul’s karmic imprints, while avatars (divine incarnations) and bodhisattvas (enlightened beings) return voluntarily to guide others, dissolving samsaric suffering. The ultimate goal is nirvana, the cessation of suffering and the realization of unity consciousness.

Living with this awareness fosters detachment, mindfulness, and alignment with the higher self, allowing the soul to transcend the cycle of samsara and fulfill its sacred role in the unfolding of cosmic harmony.
