for your consideration: danny boyle's sunshine (2007)

I wanted to make a track using only samples from a single movie, so I sat down and went at it. all of the sampled sounds from this track (aside from break/bass sample) are from the 2007 movie “Sunshine” (a personal favorite of mine). I sampled directly from the movie, not the soundtrack files. I used a break from @fanusamurai bandcamp dnb sample pack for this track, so it is NOT included in the project file. it's great to support independent artists and Fanu’s breaks are the best around… it really is a must-own if you’re into jungle/dnb. I’ve included a screenshot of the break’s name/settings and since I used sample start fx commands instead of chopping it, you can just pick up the break and drop it in and you’ll be good to go!

i’m using u-he hive for a supporting pad/atmosphere sound. if you don’t have it, just load up any synth and mess around with it. the other 3rd party vsts are: xln ds10, valhalla vintageverb, reason rack (for rx950 combinators), and tdr limiter 6 ge. if you don’t have any of these, they are easily replacable and won’t mess anything up.
