Acid Lancashire is another name for Crumbly Lancashire cheese. It is also a track by Lancashire lad Chevron. The tune centres around stabs from Paul Hardcastle's "The Wizard”, which used to be the theme tune for Top of the Pops. Acid madness is delivered with varying tempo in a multiple time-signature nonsense, which flows into FM synth spakkery...flavoured with cowbellsl. Once your head has had quite enough of the rave dog, Ruth Joy's vocals serenade you in the breakdown before more rave dog FM jigger ensues. Circuit feat. Koffi vocal samples complete the track which was made back in 2006.

Chevron is an electronic musician based in Reykjavík focusing mainly on the skewed acid and rave side of things.

Over the past decade he has released records on Planet Mu, 030303 Records, Ad Noiseam, Acroplane as well as others whilst performing live acid shows throughout Europe. Other new music out soon on Shipwrec and Acid Waxa.
