Brightmoor is found on the Northwest side of Detroit and it's probably the community that was hit the hardest when it came to abandoned houses and blight. In the last ten years over 75% of the houses in this area have been demolished and most of the land now is urban prairies and green space gardens. You can go up-and-down blocks in block street by street without seeing a single house.Anymore while seeing nature and wildlife taking over the area.
