Mystery Pack is a show where we give producers a simple challenge — take a sample pack comprised of ten random, unknown sounds and make a dope beat. The only rule is you have to use all ten sounds, the rest is up to the producer and their creative flow. First up is Unlike Pluto, whose fusion of electronic and rock music has helped him carve his own path in EDM and rack up millions of streams on Spotify and YouTube in the process. Since his breakout single "Everything Black," he's been busy with his Pluto Tapes series, releasing a track nearly every week in 2018. On our first episode of Mystery Pack, we hand him ancient alien technology (a USB stick) containing 10 absurd sounds and ask him to make something special. Pluto thought that was too easy and raised the stakes by ONLY using the sounds we gave him — nothing else.
