One of the bleakest songs out of the AiC discography, the opening track to the critically acclaimed "Jar of Flies" sets the mood for the rest of the EP as well as for the band's subsequent releases. 'Chains would continue to tread down the path of depression and a powerful sense of hopelessness in their next releases, even up to today's release of "Black Gives Way to Blue".
Line-up:

Lyrics:
Hey Ah Na Na
Ignorance is spoken
Spoken
Confidence is broken
Broken
Sustenance is stolen
Stolen
Arrogance is potent
What I see is unreal
I've written my own part
Eat of the apple, so young
I'm crawling back to start
Hey Ah Na Na
A romance is fallen
Fallen
I repent tomorrow
Tomorrow
Is suspended my sorrow
Sorrow
