East Coast Style Hip Hop Beats / SP-404sx & SP-303

This is my first go at making a beat on the 404sx that uses no quantize at all. I finger drummed all the parts and built the main loop up layer by layer until I ended up with what you hear. Several of the sample pads on the 404 are making use of the chorus effect but I wanted a master effect as well so I pushed the whole thing through the vinyl sim on the SP-303. Gives it that ratchety old-school tape hiss sound like you found a gem of a beat in some old record store or something. This is my contribution to old beat tapes and classic hip hop. Enjoy.
