an incredibly rare Chilean folk rock record that traces back the earliest works of Carlos Salazar, an experimental, ambitious musician from the country that has a small cult following with his private press releases. he was initially a backup member for Sacros, one of the few bands from Chile to gain a sort of mythical status due to their first and only album being such a rarity, as well as having sensibilities that are proto-lots of things, especially jangle pop as a genre. this is definitely his most accessible work to date, and one of his two known projects that don't use his name as an alias, the other being Lamariposa. it's unknown how many others were part of this band officially, but it's hard to tell. his work is not nearly as known nor as respected as it should be, so here's my first contribution to hoping his releases find further relevance. his current whereabouts seem to not be known either.
