Easily Produce Dark And Driving Kick Drums Using A Couple Samples! In this video I will show you a quick demonstration of how to gain control of a kick sample using Shaper Box as well as one way to add groove to a kick pattern.
I am starting a series where I will break down kicks from tracks I've released as well as tracks I am working on. This will hopefully give you some ideas for your own productions.
This first one is meant to be simple. Often times, if you have a good sample you don't have to do much to it! Just follow these steps to gain more control so you can flavor as you like. I also demonstrate a way to get some nice grooves going by adding a second kick for some 16th note hits.
