Mista Savona @ Rainbow Serpent Festival, Victoria, Australia - Summer 2015

Sunday 25 January, 2015: 7pm - 8pm

Mista Savona's DJ set from Rainbow Serpent Festival 2015 - one of our favourite festivals occuring over the Australian summer. This DJ set is a mix of dancehall, uptempo reggae and bass electronic tunes with quite a few original productions thrown in, including some as-yet-unreleased cuts on the Kalonji Riddim featuring Burro Banton and Junie Platinum (check out www.bornaking.com). Other artists featured include Stylo G, Liquid Stranger, Skarramucci, Randy Valentine, Sizzla, Turbulence, Tarrus Riley, Benny Page, Chase & Status, Cutty Ranks, Busy Signal & many more.

This is a high energy set, and the dancefloor at Rainbow Serpent was absolutely amazing to witness. Massive shout out to our friend and MC Di Apprentice, who absolutely tore up the stage during this show - but unfortunately his microphone line was not recorded from the front of house and so can't be heard here. Also a shout out to Jesse I and the Chant Down crew who played a solid roots set just before this, and Stickybuds (Canada) who played a wicked dancehall & breaks set straight after. Finally, a special thanks to Andrew Schudmak & the crew at Rainbow Serpent for making it happen! Awesome as always.
