This is a recording from an alternative Earth, centuries ago. That planet has ultimatively fallen prey to the forces of Darkness: humans became too obsessed with materialism, hedonism and egocentric worldview, abandoning the higher path and spirituality. The world slowly crushed under its own weight of self-destructive behavior, ignorance and technology gone berserk. A few recluse monks who were still chaste in spirit and devoted to their Path were driven away from the society, excommunicated by their own brethren in flesh. During those times of outcast, the monks set off to salvage spiritual knowledge and artistic expression of the Divine path, to save it from the catharctic apocalypse that loomed over Humanity.
All that is left from that decayed and ruinous world are these dusty, ancient recordings of the mysterious byzantine-like sacral chants of the priests. What are they trying to convey to us, through the dark halls of time and space?
