Come after me, says the Lord,
and I will make you fishers of men.

Gospel: Matthew 4:18-22
As Jesus was walking by the Sea of Galilee, he saw two brothers, Simon who is called Peter, and his brother Andrew, casting a net into the sea (for they were fishermen). And he said to them: “Follow me, and I will make you fishers of men.” And at once, leaving behind their nets, they followed him. And continuing on from there, he saw another two brothers, James of Zebedee, and his brother John, in a ship with their father Zebedee, repairing their nets. And he called them. And immediately, leaving their nets and their father behind, they followed him.

Reflection: How am I responding to Jesus’ invitation to follow Him, and who can I invite to join me on this journey of faith?

Prayer: My dear Lord, I do say “Yes” to You this day. I hear You calling me, and I choose to respond with the utmost generosity and abandonment to Your holy and perfect will. Give me the courage and wisdom I need to hold nothing back from You and Your divine calling in my life. Jesus, I trust in You.
