The Azmak River, located in Akyaka town of Ula district of Muğla, is a unique natural wonder famous for its natural beauties and clear waters. The river, which is approximately 2 kilometers long, spreads to Gökova Gulf. Azmak, which takes its source from the surrounding economic waters, flows at a constant temperature (usually 10-12°C) in summer and winter and cools.
Thanks to its crystal clear water, the Azmak River allows clear observation of fish species, aquatic plants and underwater memories. The river regions host a rich flora and fauna. It is possible to come across creatures such as mullet, eel and otters here. In addition, birds and butterflies hidden among the reeds add a separate beauty to the region.
