Melodic Drum and Bass created on the Sonicware SmplTrek.

I was kind of stuck in Hip Hop mode on this device. I was making lots of beats but I was struggling to break them out into complete tracks so I decided to switch things up and go back to my oldest love; DnB. The speed and progressive nature of DnB pretty much demands you to build multiple patterns because a static 8 bar loop will get boring real fast.

This is the most composition work I've done on this sampler and I had some lessons learned. I could have organized my patterns and tracks better and next time around I'll do some things differently but I learned a lot and now I appreciate this box more than I did before.
