This 22 year old young teacher arrived in this village 3-4 years ago and decided to stay. But he isn't getting paid.
There are only 38 students in this school, and most teachers are in their 50s only this man in his 20s is willing to stay here and teach the students for free.
When he first came to the rural village school, there was no playground. When students run around and get hurt on the concrete floor, he used his own money to fix up the school and make a playground for the kids. Now they have a softer place to land should they fall.
He used the money from his art commissions to make the project happen. He spent most of the money on the students rather than himself.
But he's always kept a secret from his students all this time, that he wants to go home and misses his home everyday. He's the furthest one from home out of all the teachers.
When he found out that a student of his had stole books he bought for the students to read as he herd the sheeps, he wasn't mad, instead, he visited the students' home and knowing that the student's family was poor, he even took the student out to eat and even bought him a new jacket.
Because to him, these aren't just his students, these are his kids, and perhaps that is the only way he was able to stay in this boring village where no one his age frequent. After hearing this do you think he's a good teacher? Do you think his sacrifices are worth it?
