Every week on my Tuesday Morning Coffee stream (10AM-1:30PM EST on Twitch), we pick a Record Of The Week. This week - I have chosen BADBADNOTGOOD's new release "Mid Spiral" - on vinyl! Don't ask me how this happened, but I'm the only DJ in the world with this vinyl pressing currently. If those aren't DJ bragging rights, I don't know what are. I was hoping they would release it on wax after enjoying their 3-tiered "Chaos / Order / Growth" digital music drip earlier this year - but to be the first person in the world with one... I'm honoured. And so it's a must that I share this moment with y'all.
If you're in Toronto, BBNG is doing a vinyl release on Friday at Standard Time (165 Geary Ave) 5PM-8PM. It would be the best place to grab the wax from them if you can reach. I'm bringing a bag of records and hot sauce, let's see what happens.
