A Comprehensive Documentary on Joseph Stalin's Brutal Regime, Mass Killings, and Ambition to Create a Communist Utopia in the Soviet Union.

Through the most significant events of the 20th century, this documentary exposes the legacy of terror, repression, and devastation left by Joseph Stalin. On March 9, 1953, Stalin died in Moscow. His funeral resembled that of a demigod—an eerie final tribute to a man responsible for the deaths of millions. Over three decades of absolute rule, Stalin led with paranoia and cruelty, enforcing policies that crushed his own people under the guise of revolutionary progress.

His ambition to reshape Soviet society plunged the country into widespread poverty and fear. In the early 1930s, hunger stalked the streets of Moscow, and 7 million peasants were deliberately starved as punishment for resisting collectivization. Stalin’s Gulags—labor re-education camps—imprisoned 18 million people, turning them into slaves of the state. He masterminded show trials with pre-decided verdicts, manipulated the global press through false propaganda, and established a reign of terror that stifled all dissent.

During World War II, Stalin faced a new enemy: Adolf Hitler. On June 16, 1941, three million Nazi soldiers invaded the Soviet Union, capturing key territories, including the city of Stalingrad. Yet in a dramatic turn, Russian forces reclaimed the city in November 1942. The German surrender in February 1943 marked a pivotal victory—not just in the war, but for Stalin's global image. The man who had slaughtered his own citizens was now hailed as the first leader to defeat Hitler.
