In december 2022 we bought an old neglected farmhouse in the south west of France. We started renovating it. From the outside it looks okay, with a new roof on it but there is lot’s of work to do, after years of neglect on the inside. Also the outbuilding must have some love and dedication and don't forget the garden. So lot’s of work the coming years. In august 2022 our family left everything behind and moved to France - not knowing where we would end up. Finally, after a difficult search, we found our home: a neglected old farmhouse. This is our story after living one year in France.
Renovating and restoring our old farmhouse, the old barns and the garden and land will take years. But in the end, it's about the journey and not the end destination. After all, you should always have something to dream about. Right?
