I plan on uploading a few videos like this where I play drum parts to original songs I write and record. This is part of my solo project I am slowing developing. I plan on uploading more videos/songs as I make them. All of the guitars are pretty much programmed by the way.
I bought an Agile Septor 7 string a few months ago for my studio. I decided to write songs on the drums, this way I can use drum parts I write and really enjoy playing. I then record these songs on the drums. Then I use the Agile and basically take multi samples of notes/chords/mutes/etc. that I want to use for that song. I then arrange these samples to my drum parts. It seems like a long process, but I have started to develop a good work flow for this stuff, so its getting easier and easier. All of the clean guitar parts are me actually playing in this one.
This is just one of many that I plan on uploading! This concept of sampling the guitar and actually recording the drums is just an experimental thing I have wanted to do for a while now.
