Happy Friday guys! ☀️I am happy to present you my new release. I started this track back in 2021 and for a very long time could not make it sound the way I wanted. I almost threw this project away last year after I felt like it's not going to work out. Luckily, I took it back up a couple months ago and slowly worked through all the difficult parts of it and well, here we are!
This song has always been my most favorite project and quite perfectly combines my love for Afro, Latin and Funk genres, which is full of feel-good summer vibes. I remember listening to "Samba Do Brasil" by Bellini in 2017 () and being so inspired by that sound that I always wanted to make my own music in similar style. I think Sundance came pretty close to that vision/sound!
As a sidenote, Sundance is a part of my forthcoming 3-track EP which will be released over this summer. The other two tracks are titled "Bossa Nova" and "The One". "Bossa Nova" will continue exploring sounds that are closer to Brazilian music while "The One" is more of a clubby track with soulful touches.
