The actor was the subject of the joke that led Will Smith to take the Oscar stage and slap Rock. The comedian joked about Jada Pinkett Smith starring in “G.I. Jane 2”.

In just the past 48 hours, the incident took place, Will subsequently won one of the top awards of the night for his role in King Richard.

Pinkett Smith posted a message on TikTok a few days before the Oscars in which she embraced her bald head. Last year, the actress shaved her head due to alopecia, a condition that causes hair loss. Pinkett Smith described the pressure.

Will Smith issued an apology to Rock on the night after the Oscars, writing, “Jokes at my expense are part of the job, but a joke about Jada’s medical condition was too much for me to bear and I reacted emotionally.

However, social media backlash against Will Smith was not only all about his acts, or defending Chris Rock. Some are disgusted by the fact that Will Smith defended Jada like that, in front of award-winning actors and on national television, despite the fact that Jada had a history of cheating on him. People were angered by the idea that Jada didn’t really deserve to be defended like that.

Jada is the stepmother to Will's son Trey from a previous relationship, and the couple married in 1997.

Following rumors of adultery in their marriage, Will and Jada were seen on Jada's show Red Table Talk having an awkward chat about their relationship. Will described how the young artist came into their lives.
