I named this piece after the lovely necklace I wore in the video. Persian blue is another name for Turquoise, the beautiful blue stone often entered Europe through Persia or Turkey. The guitar is tuned to DADFAD with the bass string down to A. The A is tuned to 432 a frequency said to have healing properties. The tuning feels significantly lower and inspired some decidedly Eastern flavoured echos of ancient Persia
