I love dry & dark, yet explosive cymbals like the Istanbul Agop Xist Dark or Meinl Byzance Trash Crashes for example. So: the Agean Beast Series fits the bill perfectly 🤯 Those crashes are fast and have a great "trashy" sound (check out that FX Crash & the little slap stack!), while the ride & hihat have a nicely controlled dry & dark stick definition. These cymbals are perfect for contemporary drum sounds in any musical genre, and they look fantastic too 🥁🤩
