Our guest is Dr. Mary Droser, a professor of geology and paleoecology at the University of California, Riverside! Dr. Droser's research addresses questions about animal-environment interactions including the form and ecology of the Ediacaran period. Her fieldwork in this realm has led to the opening of a new National Park in South Australia, the Niplena Ediacara National Park, where over 40 different species of ancient fossils have been discovered.
