-- FR -- Auteure d'un 1er EP en 2019 incluant la chanson "‘I Killed My Man’’", l'artiste franco-allemande Caroline Sun (@SunBrutalPop) se révèle ainsi à la fois sur une scène crossover entre pop/rock et metal. Ce 1er essai est rapidement suivi d'un 2ème EP en 2023 lui permettant d'assurer alors la 1ère partie de la tournée d'adieu du groupe français rock/fusion SHAKA PONK dans les Zéniths de France et Arena en 2023-2024. SUN nous offre le 9 mai 2025 son 1er LP intitulé Kystal Metal (Sun Brutal Pop). Celui-ci mêle ses influences pop/rock indé et metal. Plus qu'une guitariste, SUN confirme tout le talent et la liberté de cette artiste à la personnalité forte ayant construit son propre univers, toutefois emprunt du mouvement Riot grrrl (Bikini Kill, Jack Off Jill, Bratmobile, Adickdid, Bang!, The Butchies, Calamity Jane, Dickless, Emily's Sassy Lime, Excuse 17, Fifth Column, The Frumpies, Heavens to Betsy, Huggy Bear, Sleater-Kinney, L7, Hole...). SUN se produira au festival @HellfestOfficial le 20 juin 2025 (Mainstage 2).
