Let’s see what we can find about them! Sorry for the time I took to make this one. My researchs led me very far, which means some other killer volumes to follow!
A1- The Alright Five is a band starring the genius Alan Burn, best known for his record "Wirlpool".
- Tuesday Records 7/8 (1966)
A2- Chain Gang is an unknown band from Jackson, MI. They issued their only single on Wanted, a Chicago based label that also issued two singles by Long John And The Silvermen.
- Wanted SS-11420-01 (1967)
A3- The Executives is an unknown band issued on a label from Tulsa, OK. Here is featured a nice mover!
- Galena Records – G-114 (1966)
A4- I mistook this track for one by Aussie band the Groop. It appears it's actually an acetate that can be found on Digging For Gold Vol.3.
- Acetate? Unk
A5- The Night Riders is a band from Detroit, MI. Here is the B side of their amazing "Don't Say", compiled on Garage Punk Unknowns Vol. 2.
- Boblo – 110 (1965)
A6- Ray Hildebrand was a Texan musician from Joshua, TX. He recorded many albums and singles in the mid-60s. This one was issued on one of the Major Bill labels that featued also the band The Livin' End.
- Soft Records – S-987 (1966)
A7- The People aka We The People aka The American Zoo is a band from La Crescenta, CA. They issued a total of four singles in the 60s on a Los Angeles label.
- Reena Records – EH-100 (Oct 1967)
A8- The One Way Street Band aka The Nomads is a band from Philadelphia, PA. They are better known for their acetate as The Nomads, compiled on Crude P.A.
- Romain – WD 1011 (date unk)
B1- Soul Body is a band from Badger High School in Lake Geneva, Wisconsin, originally known ad The Chozen Few. Their unissued 1966 recordings were pressed in the 1980s on Vintage Records.
- No Label (1966)
B2- Them aka Tthhemm aka It's Them is a band from Cincinnati, Ohio. They are best known for their song "Baby (I Still Need Your Lovin)" compiled on Back From The Grave Vol. 10. This is their first release.
- King Records 45-5967 (1964)
B3- Three To One is a Canadian group active in the late 1960s, formed in Vancouver then later moved to Toronto. Their cover of "See Emily Play" was compiled on Peebles Vol. 14.
- Arc Records – A 1186 (1967)
B4- William Penn & The Quakers (no link with William Penn Fyve or Wm Penn & the Quakers) is a band from Philadelphia, PA. They released 3 singles on Len Stark's Melron Records label.
- Melron Records – 5013 (1966)
B5- Mystery band issued on Moxie (no link with the later label that compiled the Boulders Vols), a label from Tucson, AZ.
- Moxie – M.R.C.103 (date unk)
B6- Mystery band. The other side was featured on a previous volume of this series.
- 12 - no cat# (date unk)
B7- FROM is a band from the Chicago area active until 1968. Their only single was pressed at 100ex. A reissue is available.
- Groovy 12766 (1966)
B8- Lincoln St. Exit is a psychedelic band from New Mexico, USA, active in the late 1960s, led by Tom Bee. They are well known for songs like "Who's Been Driving My Little Yellow Taxi Cab" or "Sunny Sunday Dream" Here is a song that was never issued at the time.
