A defense of socialism, in response to the video “Ben Burgis Debates Destiny” from The Serfs YouTube channel
Topics covered:

2. Can socialism overcome incentives to destroy the environment?

4. Can socialism provide a strong, thriving economy?

(New note many months after publishing this video: At the time I made this video I wasn't aware of some of the fucked up things that Destiny believes and has advocated for, many which he hadn't even publicly said yet. I just knew him as the guy who was really good at debating people on the far-right and had convinced many people to abandon those views. This is why I called him my "favorite liberal", something I now regret. Ok, now back to the regular video description...)

Although Ben Burgis did well at defending his position, he seems to be of the social democrat tradition of socialist, which is a perspective on socialism that I disagree with.

Destiny had various doubts, questions, and concerns and at times he seemed unsatisfied with Ben Burgis’s answers. I believe that, from a libertarian-socialist perspective, I can provide more satisfying answers to Destiny’s questions.
