Former treasury assistant secretary David Pearl says Treasurer Jim Chalmers is “completely isolated” in the indexation of superannuation tax.

“I’m not sure the prime minister is on board with this proposal, I suspect he is defending his treasurer,” Mr Pearl told Sky News host Steve Price.

“Jim Chalmers, it seems to me, is completely isolated on this.”
