❤️ The host family was so kind here and Mongolia is gorgeous!!! The coolest part is that yurts (or "ger" as they are called in Mongolia) aren't just for tourists. Many families in the countryside still use yurts to this day!
🤗 A funny side story is when we arrived our host told us that we had to always lock the door or else a cow would try to break in and eat any food inside. The door was only about 4 feet high and 2.5 feet wide so Hud told me there's no way a cow could fit. But the next morning we woke up to a scraping at our door. Sure enough, there was a little calf trying to nudge his way into our yurt! Hud and I laughed so hard! (Moral of the story, always listen to your Mongolian host or a baby calf might break in and eat your Tsuivan 🤣)
