The story here is that I entered a raffle to benefit victims of hurricane Harvey and ended up winning a Yellowcake MK Ultra pedal. I forgot that I had entered the raffle, so when it showed up in the mail it felt like a special surprise treat from the pedal fairies.
I'm not actually really sure how to describe this thing. It's octave-y but also kind of ring modulator-ish as well, with a touch of sitar-tastic attack and decay. Also, there's a great sounding filter that shifts the resonant peak around. So cool! You can hear me start clean, turn on the MK Ultra, and then add in a Trombetta Mini-Bone.
Warning: this is me messing around and saying hello to the guitar for the day, an entirely casual moment, so you'll hear plenty of "humanity" and also what happens when I stumble on some articulation or weird phrase and get stuck on it for a minute, skipping Discman style.
Please enjoy!
