Two-Year Old Gentlemen, Feb 4-6, 2010, Novellus Theater at YBCA—Evidence, A Dance Company, founder and choreographer Ronald K. Browns newest work, Two-Year Old Gentlemen, is an homage to the traditions passed down from one generation of men to another. Inspired by the relationship between Browns young nephew and his grandfather (who passed away last year at age 80), Two-Year Old Gentlemen poses questions about male responsibility—to ones community, to ones family and to ones self. Also featured is an original score composed and performed live by Guinean drummer Mamadouba Mohammed Camara.
