On 24th January 2011, Four young adults from the Johns Hopkins Outdoor Club—two men and two women—decided to explore Schetromph Cave. Their goal was to assess its potential for future club outings. They entered the cave around 2:30 p.m., excitement buzzing among them as they navigated the dark, twisting passages. The exploration went well until tragedy struck.
