It’s a retelling of “Sleeping Beauty” – but our focus is on the fairy that didn’t get her invitation and stubbornly refuses to listen to the reason why. Hurt and angry, Brambleberry Fairy (Angel Cake) impulsively gives her terrible gift, then feels lonely and regretful after Princess Strawberry Rose gets pricked by a brambleberry thorn, falls asleep and her five fairy friends (Appleberry, Rainbowberry, Gingerberry, Tangerinaberry and Orangeberry) put the whole kingdom into a dream sleep until they can find a way to awaken the Princess.
