Strangest Borders in the World Part 2 #shorts

Transcript: Borders all over the world come in different
shapes and sizes. Sometimes, they end up forming strange shapes, like panhandles.
The province of Trieste in Italy stretches 48 kilometers into Slovenia. This happened
because of historical events, making the border shape quite unusual.
India's Siliguri Corridor is a narrow strip of land connecting the northeast region to the
rest of the country. It was created during the partition of India in 1947.
Afghanistan's Wakhan Corridor reaches 350 kilometers from the country. It was set up
as a buffer zone between the Russian and British empires in the 19th century.
Both the Democratic Republic of the Congo and Namibia have panhandles due to border
agreements from the colonial era. These panhandles extend oddly into neighboring
territories.
